All community members are welcome to join for this guided, interactive workshop using the "I Am Remarkable" framework to support self-reflection, help participants recognize their achievements, and foster confidence and well-being in an academic context.
Wednesday, September 30, 2026 | 14:00–16:00 CEST | Onsite, MPI-IS Tübingen Led by Christina Funke
What’s this about? Many people in academia struggle to acknowledge their achievements and speak openly about their strengths—often due to self-doubt, imposter feelings, or cultural norms around modesty. The I Am Remarkable initiative was created to challenge these patterns and foster a more inclusive, confident, and supportive professional culture.
This onsite workshop brings the globally recognized I Am Remarkable framework into the academic context, with a focus on guided self-reflection and personal growth rather than performance or self-promotion. Participants will be invited to reflect on their accomplishments, recognize their strengths, and explore how owning their achievements can support well-being, confidence, and career development.
The session is interactive, reflective, and designed to create a respectful, supportive space for participants to share and listen.

About Healthy Minds in Academia Now in its 3rd year, Healthy Minds in Academia is an initiative committed to destigmatizing mental health challenges in the academic world. We aim to foster open conversation, promote mental health literacy, and support the well-being of researchers and staff at every stage of their careers.
Healthy Minds in Academia brings together our research community to talk openly about the challenges we face — from imposter phenomenon to burnout — and the tools we can use to support ourselves and each other.
Who can join? This onsite workshop is open to all members of our academic community. Participation details will be shared via community mailing lists.
