Starting your doctorate can be challenging! Plus, many IMPRS-IS scholars are relocating to a new city or even country. This event will help new scholars get acclimated by receiving info about IMPRS-IS program requirements, benefits, and resources.
What: IMPRS-IS Orientation Day Date: Thursday, October 26, 2023 Time: 15:30 - 20:30 (dinner provided) Where: MPI-IS Stuttgart
Orientation days are designed to provide scholars with information to help them successfully integrate into our IMPRS-IS community. It's a great way to meet other scholars, as well as HR representatives and international officers. Scholars can expect to learn more about IMPRS-IS program requirements, and the event includes social activities and free food and drinks.

Scholars even learn about the value of intercultural communication and the importance of ethical practices in science.
Finally, orientation days end with some time for socializing where new colleagues can mingle with one another.
We strongly encourage new scholars to participate in our IMPRS-IS orientation day.
