IMPRS-IS holds orientation days for incoming Ph.D. students biannually to provide new students with valuable information regarding Ph.D. program requirements. Scholars are also introduced to the MPI-IS HR and International offices and given useful information regarding residency in Tübingen and Stuttgart.
We are happy to announce that we will be offering an in-person orientation to provide new IMPRS-IS scholars with information concerning IMPRS-IS school requirements, living in Germany, and more.
We will offer two identical half-day workshops that include pertinent information concerning IMPRS-IS topics such as how and when to form a thesis advisory committee (TAC) and how to register at one of our partner universities. The workshops will also feature informative talks from representatives from our MPI-IS International Offices and Human Resources department.
These workshops will begin at 1:00 p.m. CEST and will also include a fun social activity and dinner.
The first of these workshops will be offered on October 16, 2020 at MPI-IS Stuttgart.
IMPRS-IS scholars may choose their preferred date and location. If Tübingen better suits your needs, please see the corresponding event listing for more.
If you would like to attend this event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
