Training Session for Scholars: Thesis Advisory Committee Meetings

Learn all about forming a Thesis Advisory Committee, having TAC meetings, and the TAC's importance in guiding you through your doctoral studies.

This training session will provide scholars with an overview of IMPRS-IS program requirements, with a particular focus on the Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC). All IMPRS-IS scholars are required to establish a TAC, which approves the Ph.D. project, monitors progress, and provides academic guidance throughout the doctoral journey.

This session will be especially useful for our 2025 cohort, but all IMPRS-IS scholars are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, concerns, or uncertainties about your TAC, this session will be an excellent opportunity to discuss them in an open forum.
